
Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the fell 0.73%.
The best performers of the session on the were Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:), which rose 4.42% or 47 points to trade at 1111 at the close. Meanwhile, Gazit Globe Ltd (TASE:) added 3.32% or 77 points to end at 2394 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:) was up 2.50% or 40 points to 1640 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:), which fell 10.54% or 90 points to trade at 765 at the close. Isramco Negev 2 LP (TASE:) declined 6.11% or 2.5 points to end at 38.4 and Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TASE:) was down 6.02% or 5.5 points to 85.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 253 to 142 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 3.78% or 1.30 to $33.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 3.43% or 1.24 to hit $34.93 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 5.00 to trade at $1710.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.26% to 3.5008, while EUR/ILS fell 0.20% to 3.8464.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 99.097.
